Centre Manager
The Centre Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Seed Shield Centre, ensuring that all services—healthcare, nutrition, community health programs, and education—are running effectively. This role involves managing a team of healthcare and education professionals and coordinating with local stakeholders to ensure we meet the needs of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operations at the Seed Shield Centre
- Coordinate healthcare, education, and community health programs
- Manage staff and resources efficiently
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards
- Develop and maintain relationships with local partners and community leaders
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in management or operations, preferably in healthcare or education
- Strong leadership and organizational skills

- Willingness to work in rural and underserved communities
Registered Nurse/Midwife
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled nurse or midwife to provide essential maternal and child healthcare services. The nurse/midwife will be responsible for delivering healthcare in a community-based setting, offering prenatal and postnatal care, assisting with childbirth, and ensuring the overall health of mothers and children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prenatal and postnatal care to women
- Assist in safe childbirth and neonatal care
- Educate women on health, nutrition, and hygiene practices
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver quality services
- Maintain patient records and report to the Centre Manager
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse or Midwife with relevant qualifications
- Experience in maternal and child healthcare, preferably in rural settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate care in underserved communities
Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs)
CHEWs play a vital role in delivering healthcare services at the community level. They will be responsible for community outreach, education, and basic healthcare interventions, particularly for maternal and child health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct health education and awareness campaigns
- Provide basic healthcare services, including vaccinations and maternal care
- Promote hygiene, nutrition, and preventive health practices
- Support the healthcare team in tracking community health data
- Engage with community leaders and members to promote health initiatives
Qualifications:
- Certificate or diploma in Community Health Extension Work
- Experience in community-based healthcare, especially in rural settings
- Ability to work independently and with limited resources
- Passion for serving impoverished communities and a commitment to Berachah’s mission
Teachers
We are recruiting Christian Teachers to work in our preschool and primary school, which serves children in rural communities. Teachers will be responsible for implementing Montessori principles, providing quality education, and creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Montessori-based curriculum
- Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of students
- Work closely with parents and the community to ensure the children’s well-being and progress
Qualifications:
- Montessori teacher certification (training is available if not certified)
- Passion for working with children in a Christian environment
- Previous teaching experience in early childhood or primary education, preferably in rural settings
- Commitment to the values of Berachah Children’s Organization
